UKATA are the United Kingdom Asbestos Training Association, a trade association for recognised Training Providers in the Asbestos field. UKATA set the standards for Asbestos training. Take a look at UKATA's website.
UKATA E-learning or electronic learning is a means of accessing training by delegates remotely using the web based (Internet) platform to access the training material. This training has been audited and approved by UKATA on an annual basis.
You can still do the training using someone else’s device, for example, your employer or a friend if you have your user name and password.
Any devise you choose to use must be internet connected to use the system, however, UKATA strongly recommends that the minimum screen size must be 7 inches, so anything from a small tablet through to a PC is great, ideally with speakers so that the narration can be heard. Due to its size a mobile phone is not suitable.
