A Major Announcement from the CITB
The Launch of the CITB Employer Network

Asbestos Training Limited, and sister company ATL Safety Limited are delighted to be amongst the first CITB Approved Training Organisations (ATO) to join this new initiative helping employers to train their staff at a fraction of the normal costs.

What this means for your business: - You can book UKATA and CITB approved training and receive a 70% reduction of the fees which will be covered by the CITB via this scheme. The scheme, which will launch in the Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire area in October this year and will then continue to roll out throughout the UK in the coming months.

The idea behind this new scheme is to make high quality training more accessible, more affordable and with a new streamlined booking process. In fact, in the pilot scheme 86% of employers stated that using the Employer Network was simple and straightforward, meaning vital funding is accessible, achieving a better and trained compliant workforce.

Tim Balcom CITB Chief Executive said “The Employer Network is about putting the employers in the diving seat to identify and address their skills challenges and how best CITB can align our funding and resources to support their skills needs. I would encourage employer in the Network areas to get involved” read more at https://www.citb.co.uk/levy-grants-and-funding/grants-and-funding/employer-networks/#whatis

Managing Director Graham O’Mahony commented “This is a fantastic opportunity for SMEs as well as large organisations to access industry leading training whilst taking advantage of the extremely generous funding available.” He added that “the costs of quality training can be a real barrier to staff receiving the training they really need, and of course in the Asbestos Industry, safety of the workforce and public is paramount.”
